Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning:
Install and calibrate medical equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
Ensure seamless integration of devices within hospital workflows.
Maintenance & Servicing:
Conduct preventive maintenance on hospital biomedical equipment.
Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Diagnose and resolve technical problems in medical devices.
Repair or replace defective parts to restore equipment functionality.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate service logs, calibration records, and reports.
Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Staff Support & Training:
Guide hospital staff on proper equipment usage and safety.
Respond promptly to service requests and emergency situations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
Hands-on experience with hospital medical equipment such as ventilators, ECG machines, infusion pumps, dialysis machines, imaging equipment, etc.
Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience:
3-4 years in biomedical equipment maintenance or service (hospital experience preferred).
