Company Profile : Our client is European MNC - Leading supplier of generic pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, hospital equipment and medical kits to public and private institutions, international development organisations and the UN Position :Biomedical Equipment Specialist Job Location : Ahmedabad (Gujarat) Job Responsibilities : In close coordination with the Global Category Manager to assist with all technical related input in the sourcing, quotation and order execution phase of procurement of Medical Devices. Technical comparison of quotations from different vendors including preparation of tender compliance sheets Based on input from vendors to assess and prepare spare part lists for our customers. In collaboration with vendors prepare assembling and user manuals. Preparation of offers for After Sales Service agreements to our costumers Preparation of Product catalogs In coordination with the Quality department to inspect orders for release (India only). Product release of transit orders based on pictures and documentation. Assist the Category manager with sourcing of new vendors in India mainly. Categorization and creation of item numbers in the ERP system Product training of Procurement and Sales colleagues Support the implementation, maintenance & improvement of the Quality Management System for Medical Devices. Active part in assessment and approval of products (AVL). Active part in developing new suppliers enabling compliance to present ISO, CE and MP requirements. Responsible for reviewing, analysing complaint data, performing root-cause-investigations to establish corrective & preventive action plans. Developing and performing test methods for product testing and investigations, writing and updating procedures as required to ensure the quality, safety aspects in compliance to regulations. Any other duties or assignments as requested by the manager Desired Profile : Education : B.E. (Biomedical) Experience : 5-7 years on hands on experience in procurement of Medical Devices with any Multispecialty Hospital or Devices Supplier/Manufacturer. Extensive knowledge of Bio Medical & Hospital Equipment\'s Knowledge of predictive & preventive maintenance, installation, commissioning and effective trouble shooting of equipment\'s. Should be good in both written and oral communications including diplomatic discussion of required corrective actions Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
