Job Description

A Biomedical Service Engineer installs, maintains, and repairs medical equipment in healthcare facilities, ensuring it functions safely and efficiently. They troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and train staff on proper equipment use. This role is vital for patient care and the smooth operation of medical environments. Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Setup:

Installing new medical devices and ensuring they are properly calibrated and functioning according to specifications.

Maintenance and Repair:

Performing routine preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, and replacing defective parts.

Troubleshooting:

Identifying and resolving technical issues with medical equipment, often requiring on-site visits to healthcare facilities.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensuring all equipment meets safety standards and regulatory requirements, conducting safety checks, and maintaining compliance documentation.

Training and Support:

Providing training to medical staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment, offering technical support and guidance.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.

Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of new technologies and advancements in biomedical equipment and maintenance procedures.

Collaboration:

Working with other engineers, technicians, and medical professionals to resolve complex issues and ensure optimal equipment performance. NOTED-QUALIFICATION-DECE/BE ECE-5 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN COMPONENT LEVEL SERVICES ELECTICAL EQUIPEMENT ,MEDICAL EQUIPEMENT
