Key Responsibilities
:
Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment and hospital medical devices
Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory norms
Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide timely technical support to clinical teams
Maintain accurate documentation for equipment servicing, AMC, and calibration records
Coordinate with vendors for equipment installation, warranty claims, and service support
Support new equipment procurement by evaluating technical specifications
Ensure adherence to NABH, JCI, or other applicable healthcare quality standards
Qualifications & Skills
:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum
2+ years of hands-on experience
in a hospital or healthcare environment
Strong knowledge of medical equipment, diagnostics, and life-support systems
Familiarity with hospital safety protocols and biomedical regulations
Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with doctors, nurses, and vendors
Willingness to respond to emergency equipment breakdowns
