Job Description

Equipment Management:

Purchasing, installing, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing vital medical devices (e.g., ventilators, monitors, imaging systems).

Safety & Compliance:

Ensuring all equipment meets safety standards and regulatory requirements, and investigating safety issues.

Technical Support:

Providing expert help to doctors, nurses, and technicians on equipment usage.

Training:

Educating medical staff on the proper use and limitations of technology.

Innovation & Development:

Designing and improving new tools, from prosthetics and implants to advanced surgical systems, often working with clinicians to meet specific needs.

Research & Development:

Applying engineering principles to biological systems, developing computer models, and exploring new therapies like robotic surgery or tissue engineering.
