Urgent Opening Bio Medicate Engineer in leading Hospital in Madurai

The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment in the hospital. This includes maintenance, repair, testing, and calibration of equipment, as well as providing technical support to hospital staff.

Role Description

1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and calibration of medical equipment, including patient care equipment, diagnostic equipment, and laboratory equipment.

2. Equipment Testing: Conduct safety and performance testing of medical equipment, including electrical safety testing and equipment functionality checks.

3. Technical Support: Provide technical support to hospital staff, including troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.

4. Equipment Procurement: Assist in the selection, procurement, and installation of new medical equipment.

5. Training and Education: Provide training and education to hospital staff on the safe use and maintenance of medical equipment.

6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines, including those related to medical equipment safety and performance.

7. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repair, and testing, as well as equipment inventory and documentation.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.

2. Experience: 5 + years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.

3. Certifications: Certification in Biomedical Equipment Technology (CBET) or equivalent preferred.

4. Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of medical equipment and electrical systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,433.09 per month
