Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new biomedical equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration of medical devices. Support troubleshooting and repair of faulty biomedical instruments and report major issues to senior engineers. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, service logs, and calibration certificates. Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Coordinate with medical, nursing, and technical staff regarding equipment use and functionality. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., NABH, ISO, BIS, or local health authority guidelines). Assist in inventory management of biomedical equipment, spare parts, and consumables. Support vendor coordination for equipment service, AMC/CMC renewals, and warranty claims. Participate in user training programs and promote safe handling of biomedical equipment.
