Reporting To: Head of Biomedical / Technical Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled
Biomedical Engineer / Executive to manage, maintain, and support biomedical equipment in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
The candidate will ensure the proper functioning of
medical devices, provide technical support, and coordinate with sales or procurement teams for new equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Management & Maintenance:
Install, test, and commission biomedical equipment
in hospitals and clinics.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and calibration of medical devices.
Diagnose and repair
faulty equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
Maintain detailed logs of maintenance, repairs, and service schedules.
Technical Support & Training:
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting
support to hospital staff.
Conduct training sessions
for hospital personnel on safe and effective use of equipment.
Procurement & Sales Support (if applicable):
Assist the sales team in
product demonstrations, quotations, and tender submissions.
Evaluate new equipment for suitability and cost-effectiveness.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety:
Ensure biomedical devices
meet all regulatory and safety standards.
Maintain documentation for audits and inspections by healthcare authorities.
Reporting & Coordination:
Prepare technical reports on equipment performance, maintenance, and repair activities.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams for spare parts and technical support.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance, service, or technical sales.
Familiarity with hospital operations, medical devices, and regulatory standards.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical knowledge of
biomedical equipment and troubleshooting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with medical staff.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Performance Metrics:
Equipment uptime and minimal downtime due to maintenance or repairs.
Timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules.
Client satisfaction and feedback from hospital staff.
Support in successful sales or tender bids (if involved in sales).

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
