Biomedical Engineer (4-5 Years' Experience)

Job Summary



As a Biomedical Engineer at Apollo Hospital, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable functioning, maintenance, and safety of medical equipment across clinical departments. You will work closely with clinical teams, vendors, and technical support to optimize equipment uptime, support patient care, and uphold quality and regulatory standards. Qureos+1

Key Responsibilities



1. Equipment Management & Maintenance



Perform

installation, calibration, preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance

of biomedical equipment across departments (ICU, OT, Radiology, Cardiology, etc.). Qureos Ensure

uptime and operational readiness

of critical medical devices such as ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, defibrillators, anaesthesia machines, imaging systems, and diagnostic instruments. Qureos Conduct regular

safety checks, performance testing, and calibration

as per manufacturer guidelines and hospital procedures. LinkedIn

2. Documentation & Compliance



Maintain detailed

maintenance logs, service reports, calibration certificates, equipment inventories, and AMC/CMC records

internal quality reviews, audits (NABH), and regulatory compliance

3. Clinical & Technical Support



Provide

technical support and troubleshooting

to clinical staff during equipment failures or urgent needs. Medipulse

Train doctors, nurses, and technicians

on proper operation, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting of medical devices. Qureos

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination



Coordinate with

OEMs, service providers, and vendors

for servicing, calibration, spare parts, and warranty support. Qureos Participate in

pre-purchase technical evaluations

, equipment acceptance testing, and commissioning of new devices. Medipulse

5. Asset & Inventory Management



Monitor

spare parts, consumables, and equipment lifecycle needs

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering

or related engineering discipline (B.E./B.Tech). Shine

4-5 years of experience

in biomedical engineering, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting with hands-on medical equipment maintenance. Qureos Familiarity with
