Dr. Muthus Multispeciality Hospital is seeking a dedicated
Biomedical Engineering Assistant
to support the Biomedical Engineering department in the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of medical equipment. The role ensures uninterrupted functioning of biomedical devices and compliance with hospital safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of biomedical equipment
Support preventive maintenance and calibration of medical devices
Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns under supervision
Maintain service logs, maintenance records, and equipment documentation
Coordinate with vendors for repairs, AMC, and warranty services
Ensure proper functioning of ICU, OT, diagnostic, and ward equipment
Assist in inventory management of spare parts and consumables
Support training of hospital staff on equipment usage
Follow hospital safety protocols and quality standards
Eligibility:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering (Mandatory)
0-2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setup preferred
Basic knowledge of medical equipment and hospital operations
Willingness to learn and work in a clinical environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
