Job Description

Research & Development:

Investigate and create new materials (e.g., polymers, ceramics, metals) that interact safely with biological systems.

Design & Prototyping:

Develop concepts for devices like artificial joints, pacemakers, and tissue scaffolds, creating and testing prototypes.

Testing & Validation:

Evaluate material performance, safety, and effectiveness in biological environments, adhering to regulatory standards.

Collaboration:

Work closely with surgeons, scientists, manufacturers, and other engineers on projects.

Industrialization:

Scale up production processes from lab to mass manufacturing while maintaining quality.

Technical Support:

Train clinical and engineering teams on new equipment and processes.
