Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Biology Teacher to join our international school's academic team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Biology to middle and high school students using international curriculum. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, developing scientific curiosity, and supporting students' academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons to students in accordance with the Cambridge International curriculum, including IGCSE.

2. Create and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and promote critical thinking and inquiry.

3. Conduct practical laboratory work, field investigations, and interactive science experiments.

4. Assess and report student progress using both formative and summative methods.

5. Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including board exams and practical's.

6. Collaborate with other science faculty and contribute to interdisciplinary projects.

7. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating classroom environment.

8. Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school events, workshops, and continuous professional development.

9. Mentor students, support science clubs or competitions, and encourage a love for biology and life sciences.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or related field (B.Ed. preferred).

2. Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in an international curriculum environment (IGCSE/A-Level preferred).

3. Experience in inquiry-based learning, concept-based teaching, and differentiated instruction.

4. Strong command of English.

5. Familiarity with digital tools, educational technology, and virtual learning platforms.
