Job Title:

Biochemist

Location:

Al Azhar Medical College & Super Specialty Hospital, Thodupuzha, Idukki

Qualifications:

M.Sc in Biochemistry (Medical Biochemistry preferred)

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory Fresh postgraduates with strong practical exposure may also apply

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and supervise biochemical investigations for clinical diagnosis Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of laboratory results Maintain quality control and quality assurance as per NABL/NABH standards Handle and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers Validate test results and assist clinicians with interpretation when required Ensure proper documentation, records, and SOP compliance Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and biomedical waste protocols Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous quality improvement activities Support teaching and training activities (for medical college setup)

Skills

Strong analytical and technical skills Knowledge of automated analyzers and laboratory information systems (LIS) Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
