Job Summary

The Binding Worker is responsible for assembling, binding, trimming, and finishing printed materials such as books, magazines, brochures, and notebooks. The role involves operating binding machines and ensuring product quality according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain binding and finishing machines (e.g., perfect binder, stitching, cutting, folding machines). Assemble printed sheets into complete books or products. Check quality of bound materials to ensure alignment, cutting accuracy, and proper finishing. Perform manual binding tasks such as stapling, gluing, stitching, and folding. Pack, label, and prepare finished products for dispatch. Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions or maintenance needs. Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Assist in meeting daily production targets and timelines.

Skills & Qualifications

Prior experience in printing, binding, or packaging operations is an advantage. Basic mechanical skills and ability to handle machinery safely. Good attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Teamwork and willingness to work in shifts if required.
