BIM (Building Information Modeling) Trainer
to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training on industry-leading BIM concepts, workflows and software to empower our students for successful careers in architecture, engineering, and construction.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Delivery:
Conduct comprehensive training sessions (both theoretical and practical) on BIM process, workflows, standards and software, primarily
Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, and MEP)
, Navisworks and other relevant platforms
Curriculum Development:
Assist in updating and enhancing the BIM training curriculum, course materials, and training manuals to ensure alignment with current industry standards and best practices.
Student Assessment:
Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback and support.
Hands-on Projects:
Develop and guide students through real-world, industry-relevant BIM projects to reinforce learning.
Support & Mentorship:
Provide one-on-one assistance and mentorship to students, addressing their technical queries and helping them build strong portfolio pieces.
Stay Updated:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest BIM technologies, trends, standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and software updates.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of
2-4 years of professional experience
working on live projects using BIM methodology.
Proven experience in training, teaching, or mentoring on technical subjects is highly preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit
(Architecture, Structure, and/or MEP).
Strong knowledge of BIM processes, workflows, coordination, and model management.
Familiarity with related software like AutoCAD, Revit (architecture, MEP and Structure), Navisworks
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
Patience and a passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
