esponsibilities
R

esponsible for basic CAD and REVIT (BIM) design tasks as directed by the Engineer. R
esponsible for all drafting for a particular discipline. R
eview and monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy. C
reation and editing of drawings & sketches in compliance with WSP BIM/CAD Standards, detailing practices and agreed timescales. C
ompletion of drafting tasks received from Engineers and BIM Coordinator. G
enerate sections / schedules / schematics from general arrangement drawings. E
nsure drawings are issued and filed in an appropriate manner. C
onversion of drawings to other formats such as DGN, DWG & PDF if required. P
rovide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to line manager. E
nsure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies. D
evelop expertise and stay abreast of developments in relevant technical field. C
oordinate, support and contribute to technical capabilities of the BIM team as a whole. A
ttend team and project meetings as required. C
ontribute to the delivery of the business unit strategy. S
upport the companies approach to sustainability. I
dentify improvements (where possible) to enhance service to clients. L
ead by example and ensure QMS compliance across team. K

ey Competencies / Skills:

andatory Skills
D

iploma or Degree Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent industry experience. 5
to 10 years of experience in BIM REVIT Architecture/ structure/buildings H
igh level of proficiency with AutoCAD REVIT P
roficiency in Microstation Connect Edition 2D packages. E
xperience in producing and checking As Built 2D drawings and 3D modelling. A
bility to build strong working relationships. A
bility to work well in a team environment as well as being a self-starter able to work unsupervised. B
e an energetic, self-starter and take ownership of your work D

esired Skills
K

nowledge of MicroStation and Civil 3D would be advantageous E
xperience of having worked in international projects - Canada experience is preferred Q
