Job Description

WSP India is currently seeking a Senior BIM Modeler to join our Tekla Precast team located at our Bengaluru office. This role is to work as part of WSP GCC Netherlands as part of BIM team and take a role in the production of detailed structural drawings in Tekla Structures-Precast and with AutoCAD Knowledge.


Lead the preparation of Engineering Drawings using WSP CAD/ BIM Standards and Templates. Agree priorities & deadlines with Netherlands Team, organize work to ensure timely delivery. Align work with Quality requirements and maintain Document Control for all work. Proactively raising queries, identifying necessary inputs from others & following up. Develop templates and libraries for BIM work. Role will be working under the supervision of Principal Engineer or Principal BIM Modeler.

Prepare structural detailed and concept design drawings for various structures/buildings and construction types to be built predominantly in Netherlands. Responsible for BIM and CAD standards, implementation, and enforcement Creation and maintenance of the software template files to assure standards Automate routines to support standards and productivity Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards Maximizing utilization on projects Create Auto Connections and automated parameters in response to project requirements Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing production through liaison with the Project Engineer and Netherlands team
Key Competencies / Skills:


Cultural awareness, conscientious with an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential requirements for the role. High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others. Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
Mandatory Skills


Diploma or Bachelor's degree in civil engineering Knowledge of working in Tekla environment in precast concrete working models for minimum of 8 years would be a preference. Good understanding of working for international codes and industry standards
Desired Skills


Competence in Tekla Precast Concrete

Minimum Diploma in CAD with 10+ years of relevant experience. It is desirable that the candidate has obtained professional registration such as EngTech with ICE, UK or close to attaining the same.
