Responsibilities:
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Electrical BIM Technician to join our team, based in Bangalore, India.
We envisage success in this role to include;
Develops and implements the project-wide Electrical BIM strategy, standards, and workflows in alignment with design intent and project requirements.
Ensures Electrical BIM models comply with established standards, level of development (LOD), and architectural best practices.
Monitors and reviews Electrical deliverables from sub-consultants to ensure compliance with the project's Architectural BIM strategy and standards.
Acts as the primary Electrical BIM reviewer, ensuring all BIM outputs and drawings accurately reflect design intent across all project stages.
Provides hands-on Electrical BIM support and training to internal design teams using tools such as Revit and Navisworks.
Conducts Electrical BIM validation reviews, including clash detection, spatial coordination, constructibility checks, and visual quality assessments.
Supports the proposals and bids team with electrical BIM inputs, including BIM capability statements, BIM execution plans (BEP), LOD matrices, technical queries (TQs), and scope definitions.
Oversees the integration of electrical BIM models with structural, MEP, interior design, and specialist consultant models.
Performs detailed electrical BIM reviews across all design stages, from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.
Manages the architectural BIM process to ensure the highest quality of coordinated design deliverables are produced.
Ensures effective technical and spatial coordination between architectural and engineering disciplines within the BIM environment.
Reviews architectural BIM models for compliance with relevant international BIM standards, architectural codes of practice, and project specifications.
Ensures architectural BIM models meet client-specific BIM standards and electrical requirements.
Monitors BIM submissions and resubmissions to confirm that all electrical review comments are addressed and incorporated.
Chairs and contributes to electrical BIM review meetings and coordination workshops with project teams, clients, and sub-consultants.
Provides electrical BIM expertise to enhance model quality, design clarity, and alignment with project BIM objectives.
Pro-actively tracks and manages critical design milestones related to architectural BIM delivery.
Prepares and maintains electrical BIM tracking and coordination documentation, including review logs and action registers.
Provides electrical BIM progress updates for monthly project and design status reports. Qualifications:
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical BIM professional * Should be Bangalore based
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and REVIT certified
Working knowledge of Navisworks for coordination and clash detection
Good understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and documentation practices
Experience working on large-scale or international projects is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
