Position Summary:


We are looking for a BIM Specialist with excellent software skills in HCP to join our team. The BIM Specialist will be responsible for using multiple BIM tools to create, manage, and analyze urban planning and urban design drawings. The role plays a crucial part in the planning, design, and development of various urban projects, including roads, bridges, riverfronts, land subdivisions, and more. The position involves close collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that design and construction documents are accurate and comply with industry standards and regulations.


Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage urban design and urban planning projects using BIM workflows, including site layouts, roads, grading, and utilities. Develop, coordinate, and maintain BIM models to support visualization, coordination, and informed decision-making. Model stormwater, sewerage, and pressure pipe networks, and manage project data to ensure accuracy, version control, and accessibility. Generate terrain and surface models; perform earthwork analysis, quantity take-offs, and vehicle tracking studies; and produce related drawings and simulation outputs. Collaborate with urban designers, urban planners, architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure compliance with project requirements and relevant standards. Review designs for accuracy and maintain project documentation. Provide BIM support and training to teams working on urbanism projects. Learn and adopt new tools and software to support various analyses required for urban design and urban planning projects. Education:

Minimum / Mandatory: Graduate / B.E. Civil Preferred / Optional: M.E. Civil with exposure to urban design, urban planning, or infrastructure development projects.
Experience:

Years: 0 to 5 years Industry / Segment: Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry Work Areas: BIM software and tools background
Skills (Mandatory):

Strong understanding of urban planning, urban design, and engineering principles. Proficiency in interpreting urbanism drawings and project details to accurately translate design concepts into Civil 3D and BIM models. High proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software such as Civil 3D and ArcGIS. Good interpersonal and coordination skills. Strong quantitative and analytical aptitude. Proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving. Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
Skills (Preferred):

Basic knowledge of ArcGIS is an added advantage. Willingness to explore new BIM software and innovative methodologies to streamline project tasks through automation, reduce project timelines, and enhance accuracy. * Commitment to optimizing overall work processes within projects by actively seeking opportunities for improvement and staying updated with industry best practices.
