to support design, drafting, and project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems, along with proficiency in BIM workflows and coordination processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop
mechanical BIM models
for HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems using
Revit MEP
.
Prepare
detailed design drawings
,
shop drawings
, and
as-built documentation
.
Coordinate with
architectural
,
structural
, and
electrical teams
to deliver clash-free, integrated models.
Implement design changes, RFIs, and authority comments accurately into the model.
Conduct
clash detection
using tools such as
Navisworks
and propose solutions to resolve conflicts.
Maintain BIM documentation, including model audits, revision logs, and standard templates.
Ensure compliance with
UAE and international codes
, such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and local authority requirements.
Support BIM Leads and Engineers in design reviews and project planning.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or a related field.
2-6 years of experience
in mechanical drafting and modeling, preferably in an
engineering consultancy
.
Proficiency in
Revit MEP
and
AutoCAD
is essential.
Strong understanding of
HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
design principles.
Experience in
BIM coordination
and clash resolution processes.
Knowledge of
UAE/GCC authority standards
and guidelines is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
