Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled

BIM Modeler - Structural

to join our India team. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating

structural BIM models

to support design, detailing, and project execution. This role requires strong technical knowledge of structural systems and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, clash-free models and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage

structural BIM models

using

Revit

and other BIM software as per project requirements. Produce

detailed construction drawings

,

shop drawings

, and

as-built models

with precision and adherence to company standards. Coordinate with

architectural

,

MEP

, and other engineering disciplines to identify and resolve clashes or discrepancies. Incorporate

design changes

, RFIs, and client/authority feedback into the BIM model efficiently. Prepare and maintain

BIM documentation

, including model audit reports and revision logs. Ensure compliance with

international codes

,

local authority guidelines

, and COENGR's BIM standards. Support the BIM Lead and Project Engineers in

structural design reviews

and model-based project planning. Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows within the organization.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in

Civil/Structural Engineering

or a related field.

2-6 years of experience

in structural drafting and modeling, preferably in an

engineering consultancy environment

. Proficiency in

Revit (Structural)

and

AutoCAD

is essential. Strong understanding of

structural systems

, including concrete, steel, and composite structures. Knowledge of BIM coordination processes and clash detection using tools like

Navisworks

. Familiarity with

UAE or GCC standards

is an advantage. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
