This role involves close collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate, coordinated, and compliant models that align with US project standards, specifications, and codes.
Key Responsibilities
Model Creation & Development:
Create and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for Architectural, Structural, and MEP systems.
Data Enrichment:
Assign metadata and parameters to model elements, ensuring compliance with project naming conventions and enabling downstream uses like cost estimation, scheduling, and quantity take-offs.
Coordination & Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to gather information, resolve conflicts, and achieve seamless design integration.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular model checks and audits to maintain accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project design intent and BIM standards.
Documentation:
Generate construction documents, shop drawings, and other deliverables derived from BIM models.
Standards Compliance:
Ensure all work adheres to project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), US building codes, and industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
Software Proficiency:
Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit (required); working knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related tools.
Experience:
Proven track record as a BIM Modeler (or similar role) on US projects within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of BIM workflows, standards, best practices, and discipline-specific modeling requirements.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; strong attention to detail; problem-solving mindset; capable of handling multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
