Job Description

Key responsibilities

Create and manage detailed 3D digital models for architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure models are accurate and reflect project specifications. Identify and resolve design conflicts or issues within the model during the design phase. Prepare and extract necessary documents, such as shop drawings and quantity takeoffs, from the BIM model. Ensure the models comply with project standards and coordinate with the design team and clients. Assist with quality control, technical support, and site coordination, which may involve site visits to verify progress. Maintain and update models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential skills and qualifications

Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, or Navisworks. Strong understanding of construction, architectural, or engineering principles. Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills. Good communication and collaboration skills to work with various project team members. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and project deadlines.
