Jr. BIM Modeler

:

As a BIM Modeler in the civil engineering domain, you will play a key role in the creation, coordination, and management of digital models that represent various stages of building and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective project development. Your proficiency in BIM software and your understanding of civil engineering principles will contribute to the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities:

Develop accurate 3D models of building and infrastructure elements using BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and BIM360) based on project specifications, design drawings, and engineering data.

Integrate relevant data, including dimensions, materials, structural and architectural details and other relevant attributes into the BIM model.

Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection, resolving any conflicts in the digital environment before construction begins.

Generate 2D drawings and documentation derived from the BIM model / AutoCAD, including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details, ensuring alignment with project standards.

Create visual representations and renderings of BIM models to help stakeholders better understand design intent, construction sequencing, and project progress.

Extract quantities of materials and components from the BIM model to support cost estimation, procurement, and scheduling.

Update and maintain the BIM model throughout the project lifecycle, reflecting design changes, field modifications, and as-built conditions.

Review and validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the BIM model and associated documentation.

Engage in regular communication and coordination meetings with project team members to ensure a smooth workflow and address any BIM-related concerns.

Provide assistance and training to colleagues regarding BIM software usage and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.

Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Autodesk BIM360.

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes; USA based experience is Plus.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to building and infrastructure design.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work within project deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

In this role, you'll contribute to the transformation of traditional construction practices by leveraging technology to improve project outcomes, reduce errors, enhance collaboration, and streamline construction processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
