About the Role

We are seeking a skilled

BIM Engineer

with hands-on experience in Building Information Modeling to join our construction team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating digital models that support design, construction, and facility management processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage

3D BIM models

for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Coordinate and integrate models from various project stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy. Perform

clash detection

and model validation to identify and resolve design conflicts. Generate detailed

construction drawings, schedules, and documentation

from BIM models. Support project teams with

BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows

. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Conduct model audits and implement best practices in BIM data management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum

4 years of experience

in BIM within the

construction industry

. Proficiency in

Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD

, and other BIM tools. Strong understanding of

BIM standards (LOD, ISO 19650)

and workflows. Excellent coordination and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

Experience in

infrastructure or large-scale commercial projects

. Knowledge of

4D/5D BIM

or integration with project management tools. Familiarity with

Scan to BIM

or point cloud data management.
