We are seeking an experienced BIM Engineer - Structural to develop, manage, and coordinate structural BIM models for building and industrial projects. The role focuses on RCC and steel structural modeling, coordination with analysis and design teams, and ensuring constructible, clash-free models aligned with Construction & EPC project standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed 3D BIM models for RCC and steel structural systems based on structural drawings and design inputs
Create accurate models for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, steel frames, platforms, and industrial structures
Ensure structural BIM models are aligned with structural analysis and design intent
Incorporate design changes and revisions throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with architectural and MEP BIM teams to ensure clash-free and constructible models
Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks
Prepare structural shop drawings, GA drawings, and model-based outputs
Integrate structural data such as member sizes, levels, and connection details into BIM models
Ensure compliance with applicable structural codes, standards, and project specifications
Support quantity take-offs and material extraction from BIM models
Review BIM models received from consultants, fabricators, and subcontractors
Participate in coordination meetings and resolve structural model-related technical issues
Maintain and update BIM models to reflect design updates and construction progress
Follow and enforce structural BIM standards, templates, and modeling best practices
Create and manage structural Revit families and project templates
Support site teams with model interpretation and constructability inputs
Requirements:
B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5+ years of total experience with at least 3 years in Structural BIM modeling
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
Ability to understand and interpret structural drawings and design outputs
Basic understanding of structural analysis outputs (STAAD / ETABS - reading models)
Good working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
Exposure to 4D BIM is preferable
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary BIM teams
