We are seeking an experienced BIM Engineer - HVAC to develop, manage, and coordinate HVAC BIM models for building and industrial EPC projects. The role focuses on accurate modeling, coordination with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project standards and construction requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed HVAC BIM models including ducting, chilled water, VRF, ventilation, and exhaust systems
Prepare HVAC layouts, sections, and coordinated BIM outputs based on design drawings
Incorporate design changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with architectural, structural, plumbing, and electrical BIM teams
Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks
Ensure HVAC models comply with project specifications, codes, and standards
Assist in quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models
Review BIM models from consultants or subcontractors
Participate in coordination meetings and resolve HVAC-related model issues
Maintain and update BIM models to reflect design and site changes
Follow HVAC BIM standards, templates, and modeling best practices
Requirements:
B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience with minimum 3 years in HVAC BIM modeling
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
Good understanding of HVAC systems and construction practices
Knowledge of MS Office and Excel
Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
