We are seeking an experienced BIM Engineer - Architect / Civil to develop, manage, and coordinate architectural BIM models for building and industrial projects. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in BIM tools, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to project standards, design intent, and BIM best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed 3D BIM models for architectural elements based on design drawings, sketches, and specifications
Create accurate exterior and interior architectural models using Autodesk Revit
Add architectural details, materials, textures, and finishes in line with design intent
Incorporate design changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with structural and MEP BIM teams to ensure clash-free and coordinated models
Perform clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks
Create 3D views, visualizations, and renderings for design reviews and client presentations
Integrate architectural data such as materials, finishes, and building components into BIM models
Ensure BIM models comply with architectural standards, industry codes, and project requirements
Validate accuracy of BIM models against architectural drawings and construction details
Assist in quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models
Review and check BIM models received from external consultants and subcontractors
Participate in coordination meetings and resolve model-related technical issues
Maintain and update BIM models to reflect design changes and construction progress
Follow and enforce BIM standards, templates, and modeling best practices
Create Revit families, maintain libraries, and develop project templates
Prepare topography and landscaping models as required
Use Navisworks effectively for coordination and clash detection
Requirements:
B.Tech in Civil Engineering or B.Arch
Minimum 5+ years of total experience with at least 3 years in BIM modeling
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
Good working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
Experience in 4D BIM is preferable
Strong understanding of architectural design coordination and BIM workflows
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
