• Position Title - BIM Coordinator (Electrical / Mechanical)
• Location - Chennai

Requirements for MEP-BIM Coordinator: 1. Project Planning and Coordination:

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate MEP systems into the overall building design. Develop MEP project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate MEP activities with other trades and subcontractors.

2. Design Review:

• Review and analyze MEP design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with local building codes and project requirements. Identify and resolve design conflicts or issues.

3. Building Information Modeling (BIM) Management:

• BIM Engineer is responsible for the development and management of the BIM models of the construction project. BIM Engineers must ensure that the models are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with the relevant standards and regulations.

4. Collaboration and Coordination:

• BIM Engineers need to collaborate with other stakeholders in the construction project, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure that the project is executed smoothly. Assigning resources to specific tasks or activities based on their skills, availability, and project priorities.

5. Quality Assurance:

• BIM Engineers are responsible for ensuring the quality of the BIM models. They must ensure that the models are accurate, complete, and meet the project\'s requirements. They also need to ensure that the models are compatible with the software used by other stakeholders in the project.

6. Training and Support:

• BIM Engineers may need to train their modelers on how to use the BIM models effectively. They may also need to provide technical support to their teams working on the project.

7. Research and Development:

• BIM Engineers need to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in BIM technology and software. They may also need to conduct research on new BIM software and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the construction project.

8. Documentation:

• BIM Lead is responsible for maintaining documents such as Action tracker, KPI Tracker and analyzing and reporting variations.

9. Qualification:

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or Electrical engineering or construction management.

10.Experience:

• Minimum 6 to 7 years of experience.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to \xe2\x82\xb980,000.00 per month Schedule:

• Day shift
