Job Description



Accurate and timely billing ensures an excellent customer experience, which drives achievement of company financial targets. Further, well managed bill run processes as well as timely adaptation to regulatory requirements ensures we meet tax and regulatory obligations and satisfy internal and external audits.
The Billing Specialist role under the Billing Operations Team is responsible for multiple important activities including invoice delivery to customers and government bodies, tracking and monitoring of billing related incidents and enhancements to our billing systems, capabilities, and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage bill runs: Partnering with internal staff and vendors such as TCS & Unified Post to ensure successful and timely bill runs from billing generation through to distribution.
  • Manage any issues with invoice quality caused by failure of technology or billing processes, driving resolution of issues and mitigation of repeat issues.
  • Support Collections, Order Management, Sales teams, and other stakeholders relating to billing issues or change management.
  • Creation and publication of annual billing schedule, and on-going maintenance of the document. Manage country bill holds in line with regulatory requirements and technology changes to ensure accurate and compliant billing.
  • Own creation and delivery of change requests such as maintenance changes, enhancements. Responsible for requirement gathering, testing, validation and final sign off.
  • Regular auditing of invoices to ensure ongoing compliance with local regulatory requirements globally, updating localizations database.
  • Updating core billing process documents including process flows and work instructions.
  • Supporting delivery of billing data to required third parties


Requirements:
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to successfully prioritize workload and organize time effectively.
  • Strong skill set in documenting processes and work instructions
  • Someone who is willing login for a 4 PM IST shift and onwards.
  • Well-developed communication skills, in particular questioning and listening skill.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive and independent \xe2\x80\x93 shows leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Order Processing and SAP experience and knowledge preferred.
  • A must team player, able to work in pairs and in groups towards a common task.
