The Billing & Reception Executive is responsible for managing
front-desk operations and patient billing processes
in a clinic setting. This role ensures smooth patient flow, accurate billing, courteous service, and compliance with clinic policies while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Greet patients and visitors and manage appointment scheduling
Handle patient registrations, records, and updates
Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally
Ensure smooth patient flow and minimize waiting times
Billing & Payments
Generate patient bills accurately for consultations, procedures, and services
Collect payments (cash, card, insurance, digital modes) and issue receipts
Coordinate with insurance providers and handle claim documentation if applicable
Maintain billing records and daily cash reports
Administrative & Records Management
Maintain patient files, billing data, and appointment records
Ensure confidentiality of patient information in compliance with clinic policies
Support doctors and nursing staff with administrative requirements
Coordination & Support
Liaise with doctors, lab staff, pharmacy, and insurance teams
Follow up on pending payments and approvals
Assist in audits and reporting as required
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Commerce, or related field
1-4 years of experience in clinic reception and billing
Familiarity with medical billing software and clinic management systems
Basic knowledge of insurance and healthcare billing processes
