Monitor and manage project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with project teams and contractors to update progress on the work schedule.
Plan and monitor resource allocation for the construction phases, ensuring optimal use of resources.
Ensure that the planning documents comply with Railways' standards and guidelines.
Billing and Payments:
Knowledge and prior experience in CMB Entry Billing and railway records.
Review and cross-check all invoices submitted by contractors and suppliers.
Ensure that billing complies with the terms and conditions specified by Railways.
Coordinate with the finance team for timely certification of bills.
Monitor and track payments, ensuring that all outstanding dues are cleared within the stipulated time.
Cost Control and Analysis:
Ensure that project costs align with the budget and take corrective actions when necessary.
Conduct periodic cost analysis and report discrepancies between actual and planned costs.
Prepare cost-to-complete estimates based on project progress and upcoming tasks.
Compliance and Documentation:
Maintain and manage all project documentation related to planning and billing, ensuring that all records are accurate, updated, and accessible.
Ensure all billing documentation is verified, filed, and in accordance with Railways/NHAI's standards and auditing requirements.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Post-graduate qualifications in Project Management or Construction Management are desirable.
Experience :
Minimum 2 years of experience in project billing, planning, and management for infrastructure projects, preferably in the railways, Roads sector.
Experience working on railway projects is a must.
Skills :
Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, or any other project planning software.
Strong understanding of project billing processes, measurement, and certification.
Knowledge of Railways/NHAI specifications, procedures, and guidelines.
Strong communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and Railways authorities.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
