Job Description

Leadership & Strategy

Lead and manage the billing department staff, including hiring, training, supervision, and performance management. Develop and implement billing strategies aligned with the hospital's financial goals. Monitor KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management on billing performance.

Billing Operations

Ensure accurate and timely generation of patient bills and insurance claims. Oversee charge capture processes and collaborate with clinical departments to ensure proper documentation and coding. Monitor billing workflows and implement improvements to reduce cycle times and increase collections.

Revenue Cycle Management

Coordinate with admissions, coding, collections, and insurance departments to optimize the end-to-end revenue cycle. Analyze trends in claim denials and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions. Ensure timely follow-up on unpaid claims and patient balances.

Compliance & Quality Control

Ensure billing practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and hospital policies. Stay updated on changes in medical billing codes (ICD, CPT), payer rules, and industry regulations. Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Technology & Systems

Oversee the implementation and effective use of billing software and Hospital Information Systems (HIS). Collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve system issues and improve automation.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?55,000.00 per month
