Brief: A ship agent provides various services to a Ship (Vessel) which comes to the Sea Ports in India for loading and discharging cargo. After the Ship (Vessel) sails out, the billing department (also known as Final Disbursement department) in Shipping terminology is responsible for making the final bill based on the services rendered to the Client. The vacancy is at the Head Office in Mumbai. Brief in bullets: Responsible for coordinating with the Branch offices for getting invoices and supporting documents for various services provided to the Ship (Vessel) from our side. Responsible for coordinating with the Travel desk team for getting invoices and supporting documents for various services provided to the Ship (Vessel) from our side. Follow-up with Branch offices and/or Travel desk in case of any missing invoice and/or supporting documents. Collating various invoices & supporting documents and prepare the Final Disbursement Account (FDA) as per standard format, after cross checking it with the estimate i.e., Proforma Disbursement Account (PDA) which is given by the PDA team. Ensure that all services being rendered to the Ship (Vessel) are been charged in the Final Disbursement Account (FDA). Responsible for dispatching the Final Disbursement Account (FDA) to the Clients via courier and/or scan copy and/or uploading on the Client\'s portal as per their requirement. Responsible for resolving queries (if any) raised by the Clients on the Final Disbursement Account (FDA) sent to the Clients for payment.
