The Billing and Collection Executive is responsible for preparing accurate invoices, managing receivables, and ensuring timely collection of payments from customers. The role requires close coordination with sales, operations, and accounts to maintain healthy cash flow and proper financial records.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and issue invoices, debit notes, and credit notes as per company policies
Ensure accuracy of billing details, pricing, taxes, and supporting documents
Follow up with customers for timely payment of outstanding invoices
Maintain accounts receivable records and aging reports
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
Coordinate with sales and operations teams regarding billing and collections
Record collections and update payment status in accounting systems
Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances, collections, and overdue accounts
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.)
Support audits and provide required billing and collection documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
1-3 years of experience in billing and collections (preferred)
Knowledge of accounting principles and invoicing procedures
Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar)
Good communication and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
