The Counter Staff - Ticketing is responsible for managing the entry ticketing operations at the amusement park. The role includes issuing tickets, handling customer queries, managing payments, and ensuring a smooth and friendly entry experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ticketing & Billing Operations
Issue entry tickets using the POS/billing system.
Handle cash, card, UPI, and other modes of payment accurately.
Ensure all transactions are recorded properly and tallies at the end of the shift.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the ticket counter area.
2. Customer Service
Greet visitors and assist them with ticket-related queries.
Provide information about rides, pricing, offers, and park guidelines.
Handle customer concerns politely and escalate issues when necessary.
Maintain a professional and friendly approach at all times.
3. Entry Management
Manage visitor flow to ensure smooth entry during peak hours.
Verify tickets and guide customers to entry points.
Assist in crowd control and ensure safety protocols are followed.
4. Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with the operations team, security, and management for daily ticketing requirements.
Prepare daily collection summaries and hand over cash to authorized personnel.
Report system issues or customer concerns to supervisors promptly.
Preferred Skills & Qualities
Experience in ticketing, front office, billing, or customer service is an added advantage.
Ability to work under pressure during weekends/holidays.
Good attitude, patience, and confidence in handling guests.
