Responsible for accurate and timely billing, payment handling, and maintaining customer satisfaction during checkout. Ensures adherence to billing protocols and supports smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate accurate invoices through the POS system and ensure all bills are handed over to customers.
Update accounting records with payments, balances, and customer information.
Collect customer details (contact, address, etc.) and update them in the system.
Obtain approvals for discounts, staff purchases, or credit bills as per company policy.
Maintain positive customer interactions and assist with billing-related queries.
Report daily billing summaries or discrepancies to the Store/Accounts Manager.
Receive payments through various methods (cash, online payments etc.) and check for credibility.
Send reminders for payments and contact customers when assigned.
Update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in billing or cashiering.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with POS and accounting systems.
