.Job Title: Billing Executive - Car Garage Workshop

### Job Summary:
The Billing Executive in a car garage workshop is responsible for managing customer invoices, processing payments, maintaining accurate billing records, and ensuring smooth financial transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and excellent customer service skills to handle billing queries efficiently.
### Key Responsibilities:
1. Invoice Generation & Billing:
- Prepare accurate invoices for services rendered (repairs, maintenance, parts replacement).
- Verify service orders, labor charges, and spare parts costs before billing.
- Ensure correct application of taxes, discounts, and warranties.
2. Payment Processing:
- Accept payments (cash, card, digital wallets, insurance claims).
- Issue receipts and maintain payment records.
- Reconcile daily transactions with the accounts team.
3. Record Keeping & Documentation:
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and warranty claims.
- Update customer databases with billing and payment details.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
4. Customer Service:
- Address billing-related queries from customers.
- Coordinate with service advisors to resolve discrepancies in billing.
- Handle refunds or adjustments as needed.
5. Coordination with Workshop & Accounts Team:
- Liaise with mechanics/service advisors to confirm job completion and parts used.
- Assist in inventory management by updating parts usage in billing software.
. Compliance & Accuracy:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and tax regulations.
- Minimize billing errors and resolve disputes promptly.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
Experience: 1+ years in billing, invoicing, or accounts (automotive experience a plus).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), billing software, or auto workshop management systems.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST/taxation (if applicable).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer interaction skills.
Work Environment:
- Full-time role in a garage/workshop setting.
- May require handling peak workload during busy service hours.
Performance Metrics:
