Job Description

A Billing & Estimation job involves preparing detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documents, then managing project billing, invoicing clients, certifying subcontractor payments, and tracking costs to ensure profitability, requiring skills in analysis, software, and coordination with project teams to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

• Estimation & Costing: Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope to prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and rate analyses for bids and projects.

: Assist in preparing tender documents, technical proposals, and pricing schedules for project bids. : Prepare, verify, and submit client invoices, ensuring timely payments and handling payment follow-ups. : Prepare and certify subcontractor/vendor bills, managing back-to-back billing and material reconciliation. & Monitoring: Monitor project expenses, identify cost variances, track progress, and manage change orders. : Maintain detailed records of estimates, bills, invoices, contracts, and provide progress reports. : Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams for accurate measurement and validation.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimation software, MS Office (especially Excel), CAD, and knowledge of construction methodologies.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and cost data.
• Soft Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, and excellent communication.

Typical Environment

• Primarily office-based, working with project teams and external stakeholders.
• Full-time, day shift.
