Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project requirements, interpreting blueprints, and calculating labor, material, and equipment costs.
Quantity surveying:
Analyze engineering drawings to derive quantities for various project elements like earthworks, structures, and buildings.
Billing and invoicing:
Prepare and submit accurate bills, process subcontractor bills, and prepare documentation for client billing and payment.
Contract management:
Study contract documents, manage contracts, and assist in handling disputes.
Financial tracking:
Monitor project expenses and budgets, and assist in creating financial reports and variance analysis.
Coordination:
Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments (like head office) to ensure project requirements are met and to resolve billing-related clarifications.
Documentation:
Prepare various reports, such as daily progress reports, and maintain necessary documentation for project and financial management.
