Job Description

1. Role Overview

The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing and verifying civil work bills, monitoring site progress, coordinating with contractors, and supporting CRM activities.
Additionally, the candidate must accompany customers for flat/site visits, explain work progress, and resolve basic technical queries.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Billing & Site Work (Civil)

Prepare and verify civil work bills (contractors, vendors, subcontractors). Measurement of work done as per drawings and site execution. Maintain Measurement Books (MB) with accuracy. Prepare RA Bills, Final Bills, Abstracts, and BOQs. Coordinate with site engineers to verify quantities. Track project progress and update daily/weekly reports. Assist in rate analysis and cost estimation. Ensure billing is as per technical specifications, drawings, and contract terms.

B. CRM & Customer Interaction

Accompany customers for flat/site visits. Explain work status, materials used, and progress clearly. Handle customer queries related to construction. Coordinate with CRM team for snagging and handover activities. Record customer feedback and report to CRM/Project Manager. Assist in preparing customer visit schedules and documentation.

C. Coordination & Documentation

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports. Maintain proper billing records, drawings, and documentation. Coordinate with procurement, contractors, CRM, and site teams. Support in quality check activities during construction and handover.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of civil engineering works. Excellent billing and measurement skills. Ability to read and understand architectural & structural drawings. Good communication skills for customer handling. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and basic CRM documentation. Ability to explain technical details in simple language to customers. Positive attitude and customer-friendly behaviour.

4. Qualification & Experience

Education:

Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience:

2-5 years in Civil Billing or Construction Engineering. Experience in residential/commercial project billing preferred. Experience in customer interaction (CRM) is a plus.
