Role Purpose
Ensure accurate and timely billing tied to actual work done. Verify quantities, prepare bills (interim, variation, final), ensure compliance with contracts, manage documentation and support cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
Measure & verify on?site work quantities against drawings / BOQ (brickwork, concrete, finishes, reinforcement etc.).
Prepare RA (Running Account) / interim / final / variation bills for clients and subcontractors.
Rate analysis for BOQ items and extra/variation works not covered in original contract.
Maintain detailed documentation (measurement sheets, BOQs, invoices, contract terms) for audit and dispute resolution.
Reconcile site execution vs billed quantities & cost; track deviations (planned vs actual).
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, procurement, accounts and clients to gather inputs, resolve queries and ensure smooth billing flow.
Monitor pending payments, follow up with clients / finance teams; assist forecasting of project cash flows.
Qualifications & Skills
Civil Engineering degree or Diploma.
Experience (usually 2?10 years depending on project size) in billing, measurement, quantity surveying.
Strong MS Excel skills; ability to handle measurement sheets, rate calculations, variances.
Ability to read and interpret architectural / structural / civil drawings.
Good documentation skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
