Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Billing Engineer

to manage project billing, quantity estimation, and cost control for our real estate development projects. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of

IS Codes

,

Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)

,

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

, and construction billing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and verify

Running Account (RA) Bills

and

Final Bills

for contractors and subcontractors Prepare, review, and manage

BOQ

as per approved drawings and specifications Develop and check

Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)

for RCC works Ensure billing is done in compliance with relevant

IS Codes

and contractual terms Measure and certify work quantities at site as per drawings and specifications Coordinate with site engineers, planning, procurement, and accounts teams for billing and cost control Handle

variation orders

, extra items, and deviation statements Monitor material consumption and reconcile quantities with site execution Maintain proper documentation for billing, measurements, and approvals Assist in project cost monitoring and budget control Support audits by providing accurate billing records and documentation
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

IS Codes

related to RCC, concrete, steel, and civil works Expertise in

BBS preparation and verification

Thorough understanding of

BOQ preparation and analysis

Proficiency in

quantity take-off and rate analysis

Working knowledge of

AutoCAD

,

Excel

, and billing software (if applicable) Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills Good coordination and communication abilities
Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Experience

Minimum 7+ years

of relevant experience as a Billing Engineer Experience in

real estate residential / commercial projects
