Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Billing Engineer / Quantity Surveyor (QS)

with strong experience in

fit-out projects

involving

civil, interior, and MEP works

. The role will be responsible for

measurement, costing, billing, and commercial control

of

office fit-outs, retail rollouts, hotels, and hospitality projects

. The candidate should be capable of managing

multiple fast-track projects

, with strong understanding of

drawings, BOQs, costing, and project budgeting

.

Key Responsibilities

Measurement & Quantity Take-Off

Prepare detailed

quantity take-offs

from

GFC drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings

. Measure and certify quantities for

civil, interior, and MEP fit-out works

. Verify executed quantities at site in coordination with project teams.

Billing & Client Certification

Prepare and submit

RA bills, final bills, and variation claims

. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and PMCs for

billing approvals and certifications

. Maintain billing trackers and follow up on certifications and payments.

Costing, Estimation & BOQs

Prepare and review

BOQs, estimates, and rate analysis

for fit-out projects. Assist in

project costing, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting

. Support tender evaluations, vendor comparisons, and cost negotiations.

Commercial & Contract Management

Track

contract values, variations, deviations, and extra items

. Assist in preparation of

change orders and variation statements

. Ensure billing aligns with contract terms and scope.

Multi-Project / Rollout Management

Handle

multiple office/retail/hospitality projects simultaneously

. Maintain standardized measurement and billing processes across rollout sites. Coordinate with site teams for timely measurement and documentation.

Coordination with Project Teams

Work closely with

Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Supervisors

to track progress and quantities. Support project teams with commercial inputs and cost control. Highlight cost overruns, quantity deviations, and billing risks proactively.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare

cost reports, MIS, reconciliation statements, and variance analyses

. Maintain proper documentation of drawings, approvals, bills, and measurements. Assist in project closure, final accounts, and handover documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of

fit-out drawings (civil, interior & MEP)

. Excellent knowledge of

measurement, costing, and billing practices

. Ability to manage

multiple projects and rollout programs

. Good knowledge of

contracts, BOQs, and rate analysis

. Strong coordination and communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

or equivalent.

4-8+ years

of relevant experience as a

Billing Engineer / QS

in

fit-out projects

. Mandatory experience in

office fit-outs, retail rollouts, hotels, and hospitality interiors

. Experience handling

multi-location rollout projects

is preferred.

Ability to work under pressure and meet billing deadlines. Willingness to travel to project sites when required. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Commercially astute with a problem-solving approach.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
