Billing Engineer

to manage and oversee

Industry: Engineering & Construction

Core Technical Skills:

Experience: 2 to 7 years

1. Quantity Estimation & Billing:

Preparation of client and subcontractor bills. Quantity take-off from drawings. Rate analysis and understanding of BOQ (Bill of Quantities). Knowledge of measurement books (MB) and DSR (Delhi Schedule of Rates).

2. Bar Bending Schedule (BBS):

Preparation and checking of BBS from structural drawings. Understanding reinforcement detailing (e.g., cutting lengths, lap lengths, bends, hooks). Use of BBS software like AutoCAD, Excel, or specialized tools (e.g., RCCCAD, RebarCAD).

3. Drawing Interpretation:

Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings: RCC, architectural, and reinforcement drawings. Converting GFC (Good For Construction) drawings into quantities and BBS.

Software Proficiency:

AutoCAD

- for drawing reading and markups.

MS Excel

- for calculations, BBS sheets, and billing.

Revit / STAAD / Tekla

- (optional but useful) for modeling and coordination.

ERP Systems

- such as SAP or Primavera (for large projects).

Project Management & Site Coordination:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
