Job Description

:

1. Estimation & Costing

Prepare

detailed cost estimates

(BOQ, rate analysis, budgetary & detailed estimates) based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions

2. Billing & Measurement

Check and certify

subcontractor bills

as per agreed rates and work executed Check

Measurement Books (MB)

and joint measurements of contractor Ensure billing as per

contract terms, BOQ, and approved rates

Reconcile quantities between

BOQ, drawings, site execution, and billing

3. Contract & Claims Management

Monitor contract provisions related to

billing, escalation, variations, and claims

Prepare and submit

variation statements, extra item rates, and deviation proposals

Support preparation of

claims for time extension and cost compensation

Maintain records for

correspondence, approvals, and change orders

Prepare & submit comparative statements of the quotes received from the contractors

4. Cost Control & MIS

Track

project cost vs budget

and identify cost overruns Prepare

monthly cost reports, billing forecasts, and cash flow statements

Coordinate with planning, execution, procurement, and accounts teams Assist management in

financial decision-making and profitability analysis

5. Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate with

site engineers, planning engineers, consultants, and clients

Ensure compliance with

contractual, technical, and statutory requirements

Support audits (internal, client, and statutory) related to billing and cost

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Strong knowledge of

IS codes, standard specifications, and construction practices

Proficient in

quantity surveying and rate analysis

Hands-on experience in:

AutoCAD

(measurement & drawing understanding)

MS Excel

(advanced formulas, pivot tables, cost sheets)

ERP / Billing Software

(SAP, Primavera Contract Management, or equivalent) Familiar with

CPWD / PWD / Schedule of Rates (SOR)

Sound understanding of

EPC, item-rate, and lump-sum contracts

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering)

or

Diploma in Civil Engineering

with extensive relevant experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
