Job Description

Leading construction and real estate company Kushal Landmarks Pvt Ltd Require urgent opening for the position of Billing Engineer . Only experienced can apply.

To serve as the primary point of contact for all financial measurements and quantity validations on-site. You will ensure that the project maintains a by certifying work progress, managing subcontractor payments, and minimizing material wastage.

Core Responsibilities1. Site Measurement & Verification

Physical Verification:

Conduct regular site visits to take "as-built" measurements of completed work (e.g., concrete volume, reinforcement weight, masonry area).

Measurement Books (MB):

Maintain and update the Measurement Books daily, ensuring all entries are signed off by the consultant or client representative.

Work Certification:

Verify that the quality of work meets the required standards before processing payments.

2. Bill Management (Inward & Outward)

Client Billing:

Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) bills to the client based on the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

Subcontractor Billing:

Review, verify, and certify bills submitted by labor contractors and specialized subcontractors.

Deductions:

Ensure appropriate deductions for retention money, mobilization advances, taxes, and safety violations.

3. Material Reconciliation

Theoretical vs. Actual:

Compare the theoretical consumption of materials (steel, cement, tiles) against the actual site consumption.

Wastage Control:

Identify areas of excessive wastage and report them to the Site Manager to prevent cost overruns.

Stock Verification:

Assist the storekeeper in periodic physical stock audits.

4. Cost Control & Analysis

Variation Orders:

Identify deviations from the original drawings and prepare "Star Rates" or "Extra Item" claims.

Price Escalation:

Calculate price escalation for materials like fuel, steel, and cement if the contract allows.

Experience

3-7 years of on-site experience in residential, commercial, or infra projects.

Technical

Mastery of

IS 1200

(Standard Measurement Methods) and

BOQ

interpretation.

SoftwareAdvanced Excel

(must), AutoCAD (basic), and ERP software .
