Job Summary:

K B Groups is looking for an experienced Billing Engineer with strong knowledge of quantity estimation, project billing, rate analysis, and documentation for civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate project billing, coordinate with site teams, and maintain timely and correct financial records.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Billing & Estimation

Prepare client and contractor bills as per project requirements. Perform detailed quantity take-offs and material estimations from drawings. Create BOQs, RA Bills, and final bills with complete accuracy.

2. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain all records related to billing, measurement books (MB), and work orders. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly billing progress reports. Support audit teams with necessary documentation and clarifications.

3. Coordination & Follow-ups

Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to validate work done on-site. Follow up with clients for bill approvals and payments. Coordinate with subcontractors for their billing and certification.

4. Cost & Rate Analysis

Prepare rate analysis for new items as per project scope. Assist in budget preparation and cost control activities. Monitor expenditure vs. billed amounts to ensure proper cash flow.

5. Verification & Quality Check

Verify measurements submitted by site teams. Ensure billing compliance with contract terms, project specifications, and drawings. Conduct regular site visits to cross-check works and measurement accuracy.

6. Compliance & Standards

Ensure all billing activities adhere to company policies and statutory requirements. Maintain high accuracy and timely submission of bills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech). 4-6 years of experience in billing and estimation roles in construction/civil projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and billing software. Strong understanding of BOQs, measurement standards, and contract conditions. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
