:

The Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing and managing client and subcontractor bills, ensuring timely and accurate documentation, cost verification, and coordination with site and finance teams to streamline the billing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit client bills (RA bills) as per contract terms and site progress. Verify subcontractor bills with actual work progress and measurement books. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and accounts team for billing-related data. Maintain records of all billing documents, contracts, BOQs, and payment certificates. Track project costs, quantities, and billing milestones to ensure timely invoicing. Analyze and interpret project contracts for commercial clauses and billing timelines. Assist in preparation of monthly MIS reports and billing status updates. Follow up with clients for certification and payment status. Ensure compliance with taxation and billing norms (GST, TDS, etc.). Support tendering and estimation team when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of experience in billing in construction projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure). Strong understanding of project drawings, BOQs, and contract terms. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/ billing software. Good communication and coordination skills. Detail-oriented and strong in documentation
