Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Billing & Measurement Engineer
to manage accurate measurement and billing for interior fit-out and MEP projects. The role involves site quantity verification, vendor bill certification, reconciliation with BOQs and drawings, and preparation of Running Account (RA) bills. The candidate must possess strong technical expertise in quantity take-offs, billing practices, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities1. Measurement & Verification
Conduct joint measurements with site engineers and vendors.
Verify executed quantities against BOQs, GFC drawings, and approved variations.
Identify discrepancies and ensure timely corrective actions.
2. Billing & Reconciliation
Prepare, verify, and certify RA bills and final bills.
Maintain reconciliation statements and track billing vs. execution progress.
Ensure adherence to contractual terms and client billing formats.
3. Documentation & Process Compliance
Maintain accurate joint measurement sheets, billing records, and reconciliation logs.
Follow established SOPs for billing and measurement; suggest process improvements.
Provide complete documentation support for audits.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with procurement and finance for timely vendor payments.
Work closely with project managers and site teams to resolve billing issues.
Support commercial leadership with project billing summaries and dashboards.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of billing and measurement in
interior fit-out and MEP projects

Proficiency in
MS Excel, AutoCAD
, and billing software.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
Strong negotiation, coordination, and conflict resolution abilities.
Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset.
Effective communication for cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's / Diploma in
Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
.
3-7 years
of experience in billing, measurement, and contract administration.
Hands-on experience in
joint measurement processes and RA bill certification
is mandatory.
